How to start an email conversation with someone you want to start dating
Finally, you’ve chosen the right prospect. Someone has shown an interest to know you more deeply. For that you may not be so sure of what will be your first move? Since this is online, you either enter into a chat room or use your email to communicate. Let’s take a closer look to emailing:
First, don’t email right away. You may want to wait for a couple of days but not too long so that the impression will only show that you’re not too eager and yet not disinterested. You have to balance things right in this kind of dating.
Second, do it formally (but not too formally). At a glance it should look so polished and yet not sound so strict and serious. It should also look informal in the sense that, it’s easy to read with, enjoyable and your date is looking forward to the next one. This will indicate your genuine motive if you really take your email seriously and yet so lightly so as to avoid pressure on both sides.
Third, show some interest. You just have to sound humorous though. And in order to show it, you have to be more interesting. Make sure you are interesting enough to attract her or him.
Fourth, you have to balance yourself. Don’t show too much emotion that you’ll scare your date away. You just have to think clearly. Showing too much of yourself at this point in time is not a wise thing to do. Be cool, don’t show yourself to be a heavy burden. This will just give your online date a hint that you’re just using him or her for your own good.
Fifth, there are a lot of sample introduction emails online. You have to browse and choose the right one. But please, don’t use online samples verbatim, they’re supposed to only serve as patterns.
