Give Burdened People Humor Via Funny Yuletide Cards
For many people, the Christmas holiday season is analogous to stress. People have to run around town fighting traffic and crowds while hunting down Christmas gifts for people on their list. They are spending lots of money. Insert extra time for shopping, and already busy schedules become more and more hectic. All that stress, though, can be relieved when they receive funny Christmas cards in the mail.

That your sense of humor might not be universal is an important consideration when selecting which, or even if a funny card should be sent. You definitely want to keep this in mind when choosing whether or not to send them a funny card. If you think you understand their sense of humor (or know them well enough they will forgive you if you botch it) then, by all means, start hunting for some funny cards.
Even if the topic is limited to Christmas cards, there are many to choose from. Common topics of such cards include:

- Santa
Cards featuring Santa often depict him as some kind of culprit. Several cards feature Santa getting pulled over for speeding. Others have Santa deciding to keep especially cool presents for himself. Others include Ms. Claus giving Santa a hard time about his weight.
Kid humor is always great. You’ll often find funny quotes or bits of letters kids have written to Santa asking for something unreasonable. Santa, drinking a glass of milk, could have a shocked look on his face as he reads a note that says, “Dear Santa, If you put a bike under the Christmas tree I’ll give you the anecdote for the poison I put in the milk. Your loving friend, Timmy.”
Disguising a favorite animal as Santa Claus, a present, or a reindeer is another approach you might take.
Public figures such as Barbara Streisand and Kobe Bryant are fair game for a humorous card as long as it’s done in good taste.
Whether you choose to create your own card or buy funny Christmas cards from the store, such a card can brighten someone’s stressful holiday season.
